Pan Am Boeing B-314 “Anzac Clipper”, NC-18611, preparing to leave Treasure Island on Dec. 6, 1941 for Singapore, Malaysia with a stop at Pearl Harbor. 17 passengers, including Prime Minister U-Saw, his secretary Tin-Tut U-Saw, and army Lt. Harry Paller, arrived at Pearl Harbor 1 hour after the Japanese attack of Dec. 7, 1941.
